The home is registered for 4 young people, aged 7 – 17 years. However, to ensure we are working in line with our therapeutic approach, the home will initially support two young people, to enable these young people to appropriately settle and engage with wider services and the community. Once settled, we will then consider matching other young people alongside.
We are really pleased with this outcome, and have been successful in recruiting an experienced team, to work alongside Lloyd Starley, who is the Registered Manager. From the start of October, this team has undertaken an intensive induction and training programme where a range of core and specialist training has been delivered.
We look forward to welcoming our young people into our nurturing, and truly therapeutic home, where they can begin to heal from their trauma whilst being offered opportunities in which they thrive.
