All money raised was donated to The Young Lives Foundation, based in Maidstone, who are an award-winning charity who support, mentor and advocate for vulnerable children across our county.
Why we created FOSTival
evolve Therapeutic Fostering has been receiving over 60 referrals for children and young people on a daily basis.
That’s over 60 times a day a child or young person is in need of a loving home or safe place to stay.
This isn’t just a number. This represents individual children and young people with their own personalities, ambitions, dreams, abilities, interests and hobbies.
Unfortunately, whilst the rate of children being entered into care is dramatically rising, the number of foster parents is sharply falling. Something drastic and innovative needs to happen within the social care sector so we do not fail our children and young people.
That is why the team at evolve Therapeutic Children’s Services have launched this new initiative.

evolve knows it takes a tremendous team of dedicated and skilled foster parents, social workers, therapists, panel members and other evolve team members, to support children and young people to create a safe environment in which they can begin to heal from previous trauma. Â
But there comes a point when the local community has a role to play and so it seems only appropriate that evolve gives something back to those that are also helping make a positive difference, whilst raising awareness for children and young people in care.
