Will my current agency find out I've asked?

There is no requirement to tell your current provider anything until you formally apply to transfer, and nothing we discuss goes anywhere near them. Transferring is your right under the national Transfer Protocol, which every agency has signed up to.

What happens to the children in my care?

They stay with you. Nothing about their home, school or routine changes because you change agency. The whole process is designed around keeping their life steady, and we work with the local authority to make it seamless.
