It starts from the understanding that a child's behaviour is a way of communicating, and it gives you the training and the clinical backup to answer it properly.
We offer long-term, short-term, respite and parent and child arrangements. Not every child referred to us needs a therapeutic approach, but every foster parent here is trained in one.

We are one of the few children's services in the South East with its own multi-disciplinary clinical team. That is the difference between saying you're therapeutic and being it.
Mental health assessment, diagnosis and strategies for every child we work with.
Children in care can wait up to three years on the NHS. We assess and treat immediately, at no cost to you.
Every member of staff is trained, and every new foster parent completes our 12-week therapeutic re-parenting course.
Support extends to everyone in the home, because fostering affects everyone in it.
The team is led by our Clinical Lead, Jill Hanney, who has 30 years' experience specialising in developmental trauma and spent fifteen of them as a foster carer herself. The wider team covers clinical psychology, psychotherapy and family therapy.
