To support our children and young people, we also support the communities they are a part of.
We are just one piece of the puzzle that supports our young people. The local communities in which they are a part is an integral factor to the development of our young people also. To provide a collaborative, inclusive approach to those in our care and beyond, evolve continue to support other services who have a positive impact on children and young people.
We have a clear commitment to:
- Support local charities who continue to have a positive impact on children and young people.
- Attend local community events to raise awareness of children's services, challenge perceptions and stereotypes of those in care.
- Conduct research and obtain feedback to continue to develop the thinking to ensure positive change across the sector.
- Facilitate conferences and events for foster parents, mental health professionals, local authorities, care leavers and other professionals to challenge industry norms and language and act on it.
- Hold an annual FOSTival to give back to the local communities in which we deliver our services.
