The questions everyone asks first

Am I too old to foster?

No. There's no upper age limit. You need to be over 25, in reasonable health, and able to give a child the time they need. Many people start after their own children have grown up.

I rent my home. Does that matter?

Not at all. What matters is a settled home with a spare bedroom for the child. Owning, renting privately or renting socially are all fine.

Can I keep working?

Many evolve foster parents work. It depends on the type of fostering and the child's needs. Flexibility helps, and we'll talk it through honestly on the first call.
